Wheaton Park Shopping Center, Wheaton, MD.
26,000 SF second building to an existing 50,000 SF supermarket and retail center
added 20 small bays increasing FAR by 50% with minimum additional land and parking.
Project included correcting zoning based on the projected master plan uses, re-subdivision,
space planning and project management coordinating the leasing departments, construction
and national retailers listed here. 95% leased almost immediately from opening.
Tenants include Hollywood Video, Crown Books, Household Finance and Renal Treatment
Center.
Chevy Chase Metro Center, Washington, DC. Architecture and
redevelopment of the 20 year-old Chevy Chase Metro Center. Work included initial
space planning and project management coordinating with
the leasing departments, construction
and tenants. See adaptive reuse for how this project impacted the
client's bottom line. Was formerly an underground theatre,
converted to T.J. Maxx, plus added 20,000 SF underground plus escalators.
New stair connected 1st floor bar area to 2nd floor restaurant for TGI Friday's.
