Firm Philosophy

ROSENBERG A+I, P.C. was founded in 1996 as Maleady + Rosenberg. P.C. Scott P. Rosenberg bought out his partner in 2002, and the firm's name was changed to ROSENBERG A+I, P.C. 

OUR MISSION AND OUR CLIENTS

Our primary goal is that our design work will add value to your projects and help your overall business strategy.  We have the background and experience to understand the complete development process, not just draw pretty pictures. Our clients include developers, restaurateurs, property managers, leasing agents, contractors, business owners, associations, and government agencies.  Our firm is one that understands the business of real estate development, investment, management and construction.   It is this unique approach to architecture and interiors that makes our firm stand apart. 

SERVICES AND REGISTRATIONS

Our services include a full menu of architecture, interiors, planning and development consulting.  Our service area focuses in the Mid-Atlantic U.S. region.  Many of our projects are within 2 hours of our office, so we can remain hands-on to our projects and to establish a comfort level in the local jurisdictions that we serve.  Our practice is now also expanding to Florida.  We are registered architects in MD, DC, VA, PA, DE, NJ, FL & AZ. 

PROJECTS AND EXPERIENCE

Our projects include a variety of new office buildings, retail centers, restaurants, industrial, institutional, day care, health care and recreational projects.  Our firm initially started with many tenant improvement projects which helped us gain the knowledge of what really works for tenants and what does not.  This work led us to our next area of specialty in adaptive reuse, or asset repositioning, to add to and older existing project or change it to a higher use.  In turn, these experiences ultimately led us to design better new buildings.

Although we are a small firm, our personnel and their experiences are an important asset to us.  The size of our firm allows you and your project to get personal attention, so you won't feel lost trying to solve problems and stay informed.
 
We are pro-active in our work by taking control of a situation to get to the heart of the matter at hand.  We are aggressive to help find solutions and answers for our clients.  In taking a practical approach to a project, we consider the long term goals and maintenance of your investment. This leads to more productivity and efficiency for the end user.  Guiding you through the process outline and communicating with you through every step helps you make informed decisions to keep the project moving.  We listen to understand your market, and your financial and timing goals.  We discuss your program of needs and wants, based on your budget criteria.  We discuss the balance of time, quality and cost.  We strive to look to add value to your properties.  Our successful tack record and our  team of consulting engineers help you to meet your goals. 
 
Whether you are a tenant or a landlord, your goals are somewhat the same:  Design can lead to a happy successful tenant.  That translates into rent for the landlord with less turnover, so all are winners.

We are proud of our successful track record including the award winning Fontina Grille (2002 American Institute of Architects, Potomac Valley Chapter), 10-12 Park Avenue (2003 Smart Growth Award, City of Gaithersburg) and Wells Robertson House (2000 Best Historical Renovation, City of Gaithersburg).  We are happy to have also had some press related to our approach.
