Italian Market Crofton

In 1999 we designed this freestanding Italian restaurant, called The Italian Garden. We also designed a small Italian pizza shop nearby called The Italian Market. In 2004, both operations were unified into the Italian Garden building, and the project was completely re-positioned to the marketplace, to create a full service restaurant and Italian specialty market. This 8,500 SF Italian restaurant follows its sister restaurants, Enotria, Cantina D'Italia, and The Italian Market of Annapolis. With panoramic views of the lake at The Village of Waugh Chapel, they serve traditional southern Italian specialties and seafood. Design work includes the base building, deli, dome, market, kitchen, bar, indoor dining areas, plus outdoor terraces and courtyard dining areas for 300 patrons.
